Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Smyrna Dental & Headache Center at (770) 432-1313; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is smyrnadental.net, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Smyrna is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Smyrna follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

WORST dental practice I've ever been to. I trusted this practice to give me a dental bridge. After taking my $5k, they performed the bridge but stopped answering the phone. My dental bridge has fallen out TODAY and it hasn't been a full 3 years yet! I've gone to a different dentist that has told me the doctor did not fit me properly, and that's the reason it fell out. I've tried to call them over the last 2 YEARS to tell them the fit was off!!!!!!! I'm going to do everything I can to get my money back. Worst experience ever, and it's a shame, I thought I was supporting a great business! If you're thinking about going to them just DONT! The number is disconnected, no recent social media posts, nothing! I feel I was scammed and now I'm paying for it

I had a great experience at Smyrna Dental & Headache Center. Dr. Lamothe really takes the time to explain everything and makes you feel at ease, which I appreciate since Iβm usually nervous at the dentist. The staff is kind, and the care feels thorough and professional. I left confident I was in good hands.

I recently had a few issues with my teeth, in fact, I need a lot of work done on them. Infection, broken cap and my bridge came off while eating something I should not have been eating. Twice, I reach out to Smyrna Dental in a panic for help, and Dr. Lamothe and his staff took care of me. They got me in to see him quickly both times and He told me not to panic he would take care of me. He was gentle, caring and understanding. His staff was awesome too! They make you feel comfortable and I look forward to seeing them soon.

I've been a patient of Dr. Lamothe's since 2009 or 2010. He has provided consistent care, with the health of my teeth being foremost. He takes the time to address any questions or concerns I have at each visit. The staff is courteous and professional. The office looks clean and sanitary whenever I visit. They currently offer curbside check-in and perform temperature checks upon arrival to make sure they're keeping the staff and patients safe. I recommend my dentist to anyone who asks all the time!

I have been visiting Smyrna Dental & Headache Center now for over 10 years and the experience each and everytime has been an enjoyable one to say the least. Dr. Lamont and his staff has been very professional and caring as well as they just make you feel like family instead of a client or patient. That is why I drive nearly an hour away for my dentist appointment and pass plenty of others on my way to the Best dentist in town.
